Nash County Farm-City Agriculture Award
N.C. Cooperative Extension of Nash County is now accepting nominees for our Agriculture Award. This award will be handed out at our Farm-City Week Breakfast on November 26, 2019, at the Rocky Mount Farmers Market. If someone you know exemplifies any of these categories, please nominate them.
Please return all nominations to the
N.C. Cooperative Extension of Nash County office
by November 1.
Nominations are limited to one nominee per category; however, there is no limit on the number of categories you can submit a nomination too. Nominees must be based in Nash County to be eligible. All candidates will be considered by committee.
- Farmer: A farmer who has worked to satisfy the agricultural needs of the people of the county, and to improve agricultural standards in our area.
- Business & Industry: Any citizen who has promoted Agricultural Business and Industry and supported the growth of the local agriculture economy.
- Next Generation in Agriculture: Anyone under 30 years of age who is demonstrating a commitment to a career in agriculture.
