Cooking Up the Season: Green Onions
The second video in the Cooking Up The Season mini-series has been posted to the Nash & Edgecombe Family & Consumer Science YouTube Channel. This video is all about Green Onions also known as Spring Onions. Green onions are at local farmer’s markets, farm stands, and grocery stores now. Although these beautiful onions are excellent served raw in salads and as toppings on other foods, green onions are also excellent when cooked. The video will share two different ways of preparing green onions, nutritional information, and basic information on green onions. Our next video will highlight spring cabbage.
