Hi, I am Heather Glennon, the new Nash County Cooperative Extension Director
and Livestock Agent. I am very excited to be working in Nash County and look forward to meeting everyone. I welcome your feedback about ways to grow Nash

I have lived in the Zebulon/Middlesex area for the past 15 years raising goats, chickens and a few pigs, steers and donkeys. I grew up in the 4-H and FFA programs showing livestock. I graduated from NCSU with M.S. Degree in Animal Science and a Ph.D. in Crop Science. I spent 15 years at NC State researching ruminant nutrition, forages and parasite control. Most recently, I was an Associate Professor at the University of Mount Olive teaching and advising animal science and veterinary bioscience students.
