Nash County Farm-City Agriculture Awards
2023
N.C. Cooperative Extension of Nash County is now accepting nominees for our 2023 Agriculture Awards. These awards will be handed out at the Farm-City Breakfast on November 14, 2023 at 8:00am at the Nash County Agriculture Center. If someone you know exemplifies any of these categories, please nominate them.
Please return all nominations to the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Nash County office by October 6, 2023.
Nominations are limited to one nominee per category; however, there is no limit on the number of categories you can submit a nomination too. Nominees must be based in Nash County to be eligible. All candidates will be considered by Farm-City committee.
Categories Include:
- Farmer: A farmer who has worked to satisfy the agricultural needs of the people of the county, and to improve agricultural standards in our area.
- Business & Industry: A business who has promoted the growth of the local agriculture economy, is innovative and always adapting to the needs. Supportive of their community and most importantly the farmers.
- Next Generation in Agriculture: Anyone under 30 years of age who is demonstrating a commitment to a career in agriculture.
