4-H Overnight Summer Camp

Nash County is excited to offer 4-H Summer Overnight Camp at the Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H Center in Reidsville, NC

2026 CAMP DATES June 14-19


Limited space is available - first-come, first-served.

Camper - $555  Ages 8-12


Adventurer - $555 Ages 12–13


Trekker - $605* Ages 12–14 - MALE FULL


Trekker - $605* Ages 12–14 - FEMALE FULL



*Trekker Youth leave camp one night for camp out at local state park for rock climbing and rafting trip. Adventurers will camp out one night on site of BJP.

A non-refundable $75 deposit is required at registration to secure a spot.


Payments must be cash or check payable to Nash County 4-H. We are unable to process debit or credit card payments.

Secure your space by ASAP with a $75.00 non-refundable deposit



Final Paperwork including physical due (physical is good for 2 years) due no later than March 31st.


Final Payments due no later than May 29th.

Scholarship Information


Thanks to a generous donation we are offering a limited number of scholarships for this camp experience this year. To apply for this scholarship complete the Campership application below and email to Amy Ormond or drop it off at the Nash County 4-H office no later than Tuesday, March 31st at Nash County 4-H Office  l  1006 Eastern Avenue, Room 102  l  Nashville

Daily Camp Schedule


Sunday, June 14th Depart from Nash County Agriculture Center at TBD.


Monday – Thursday Daily schedule to include kayaking, pool time, canoeing, rock wall climbing, arts and crafts, hikes, and archery. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided. Also, there will be various evening program specials.

Friday, June 19th Breakfast, pack up, goodbyes, and departure. Arrive at the Nash County Agriculture Center by Noon.

Step One - Enroll in 4-H Online


Before you can register your child for this overnight camp they must enroll in 2025 4-H Online. Non-4-H members, please choose 2026 Summer Camp for your club and please select overnight camping as your group. If you are a current 4-H club member, our office will update your enrollment to include 4-H camp attendance. Do not wait for approval before moving to the next step.

Step Two - Complete the Campership Scholarship Application Form Everyone is required to complete the Campership form for registration purposes.

Notification of total balance due based on Campership Scholarships will be provided by May 1st if March 31st deadline has been met.

Step Three - Final Payment/Final Forms


Final payment / balance is due no later than May 29th

All completed 4-H Camp Forms 


2026 4-H Camp Forms must be completed, signed off by a physician and turned in to the Nash County 4-H office no later than Tuesday, March 31st . Final Payment due by May 29th.


In addition to the Camp Forms, all Trekkers must complete a Trekker Consent Form.
