Please plan on joining the Nash Community and Rural Development (CRD) Council for their annual banquet on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 4:00 pm. The guest speaker will be the Honorable Judge Alicia Slaughter, District County Judge- District 8. In addition, we will have the talented Robin Dunn of It's a Dunn Deal Music by Ear as our musical guest.

The goal of the Nash County CRD Council is to collaboratively establish programs and set goals to enhance lives within the communities and the county as a whole. This Council is supported by the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Nash County Center’s CRD Agent, Traci Dixon. This year alone, these communities have hosted an annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. county-wide celebration, along with community information and health information sessions.
