Produce Safety Rule Training

This is a one day training course for growers on the Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) standardized curriculum that meets the regulatory requirements of the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule. We encourage anyone working in the produce industry and all farmers (large and small) to attend this class.

Before you register, please realize that only participants who attend all the sessions, actively participated in the activities and complete evaluations will receive a certificate for this class.

North Carolina residents – $75.00
Out-of-state participants – $125.00
A Produce Safety Alliance manual and supporting materials will be provided to each participant. Participants will be responsible for lunch on their own.
Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive a certificate from the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) by mail to the address provided.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
Cancellation requests should be sent to
bae_training@ncsu.edufor processing. The cancellation request must be submitted at least twenty-one (21) days before the date of the workshop to receive a full refund. Cancellation requests made between twenty (20) days and eight (8) days before the date of the workshop will receive a full refund minus a $10 administrative processing fee. Any cancellation requests made within seven (7) days of the workshop will be ineligible for a refund. Payments made by check will be ineligible for a refund.Attendee substitutions from within the same company may be made at any time at no cost. Please send an email to
