Moth Night at the Nash County Arboretum!

Join us Thursday, July 17th from 8:30 – 10:30 PM for a magical evening with the Nash County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers and Lior Carlson of Backyard Butterflies!

Ages 10 and Up. Parent/Guardian must be present.

Register Here:go.ncsu.edu/ncamothnight

Discover the wonder of moths as we attract them using a light source and collecting sheet, then photograph and log sightings for a citizen science project on iNaturalist.

Moths play vital roles as pollinators, indicator species, and food sources for other wildlife — and your participation helps scientists track important data on their populations.

Free and open to the public (ages 10+)
Space is limited — pre-registration opens mid-June!

Come be a part of real science and learn about these fascinating night creatures!
