We are excited to announce our fall classes in the Arboretum Adult Education series. Our Arboretum Adult Education classes are typically held at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons. Please note the locations of our fall classes, as they vary this season.

Registration for these classes is required due to space limitations. Registration will be available on our Eventbrite page starting 2 weeks prior to each program date and ending 24 hours before each presentation.

October 11 – Plant These Instead: Alternatives to Invasive Woody Plants in Southeastern Landscapes

Invasive plants are one of the greatest threats to biodiversity and nature worldwide. Join us for a discussion of invasive woody plants commonly planted in southeastern landscapes along with native and noninvasive options you can plant instead.

This class will be presented virtually – registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Learn how to grow fruit trees at home! This presentation will cover different species and varieties that grow well in the Piedmont, as well as strategies for planting, pruning, and maintaining your trees.
