Whether you have a backyard, balcony, or small garden space, this course will teach you the essentials of planting, caring for, and harvesting fresh, delicious produce. Learn about soil preparation, choosing the right plants, watering techniques, pest management, and seasonal gardening tips. No prior experience is needed—just a love for fresh food and a desire to dig in!
Plants, seeds, and materials for the class are donated by HS Howell Farms - Zebulon, NC
All classes are free and open to the public. Classes will be taught by Colby Griffin, Nash County Extension Agent.
