Grow Your Own: "A Beginner's Guide to Vegetable Gardening"

Tuesdays - April 1st, April 8th, & April 15th


 

Discover the joys of growing your own vegetables in this beginner-friendly gardening class! Whether you have a backyard, balcony, or small garden space, this course will teach you the essentials of planting, caring for, and harvesting fresh, delicious produce. Learn about soil preparation, choosing the right plants, watering techniques, pest management, and seasonal gardening tips. No prior experience is needed—just a love for fresh food and a desire to dig in!


Plants, seeds, and materials for the class are donated by HS Howell Farms - Zebulon, NC


All classes are free and open to the public. Classes will be taught by Colby Griffin, Nash County Extension Agent.
