April is Financial Literacy Month

The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Nash County Center provides information, workshops, and resources on financial literacy. In honor of April being financial literacy month, please check out this self-paced two-part series, Smart Money Moves: Creating a Budget.

Smart Money Moves: Creating a Budget- Part 1 is an introductory look at the concept and tips of beginning a personal budget. This session will cover the benefits of budgeting and how to set simple personal financial goals.

Smart Money Moves: Creating a Budget- Part 2, covers some online resources available to create a personal budget and/or a debt elimination plan. These free and easy to use tools can help you:
  • Eliminate debt faster
  • Develop a spending and saving plan
  • Offers free financial calculators, tools and more
