Bull City Cool of Durham and North Carolina State University Cooperative Extension are hosting an information and discussion session for shared-use facilities to provide clarity in solving the puzzle of food safety regulations in your operation.

Understanding regulations can be complex, especially when multiple users are sharing the same operation space. This session will help demystify the regulatory landscape and provide guidance on how shared-use facilities and their operators can comply with relevant food safety regulations.

Topics include:
Examples of shared-use facility business models
Foodborne illness outbreaks associated with shared-use facilities
Overview of food safety regulatory landscape and specific regulations
Existing food safety services provided by NC State

Speakers from the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) will be featured to provide direct input and answer questions.

Speakers include:
Dr. Ben Chapman (NC State, Extension Specialist/Associate Professor)
Daniel Gaines (NCDA&CS, Compliance & Response Administrator)
Beth Yongue (NCDA&CS, Director of Meat and Poultry Inspection Division
Jennifer Moore (NCDHHS, Environmental Health Regional Specialist)

Lunch will be provided by Angelina's Kitchen. Presentations and discussions will follow.
All ticket are sold online. If you'd like to pay via an alternative payment method, please contact Neal Curran at neal@bullcitycool.com.
