Scholarships Available

Nash County is excited to offer 4-H Summer Overnight Camp at the
Eastern 4-H Center in Columbia, NC

The Eastern 4-H Center is North Carolina 4-H’s
premier camping institution in the state, serving over
7,000 young people every year.

2023 CAMP DATES
June 25 to June 30

Limited space is available – first-come, first-served.

Camper – $525  Ages 8-12

Adventurer – $575* Ages 13–14

*Youth leave camp one night for camp out at local state park and canoe trip.

4-H Residential Camp


A non-refundable $75 deposit is required at registration to secure a spot.

Payments must be cash or check payable to Nash County 4-H.
We are unable to process debit or credit card payments.

Registration paperwork and a $75 non-refundable deposit
is due no later than May 1


Final Payments and paperwork
are due no later than June 1st.

Scholarship Information

Thanks to a generous donation we are offering a limited number of scholarships for this camp experience this year. To apply for this scholarship complete the Campership application below and email to Sandy_Hall@ncsu.edu or drop it off at the Nash County 4-H office no later than Monday, May 1st at

Daily Camp Schedule

Sunday, June 25
Depart from Nash County Agriculture Center at TBD.

Monday – Thursday
Daily schedule to include kayaking, pool time, canoeing, rock wall climbing, arts and crafts, hikes, and archery. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided. Also, there will be various evening program specials.

Friday, June 24
Breakfast, pack up, goodbyes, and departure. Arrive at the Nash County Agriculture Center at TBD.

Step One – Enroll in the New 2023 4-H Online

Before you can register your child for this overnight camp
they must enroll in 2023 4-H Online using the link below. Non-4-H members, please choose Member at Large for your club and please select Eastern 4-H Center Overnight Camp as your group. If you are a current 4-H club member, our office will update your enrollment to include 4-H camp attendance.

Step Two – Complete the Campership Scholarship Application Form
Everyone is required to complete the Campership form for registration purposes.

Complete the Campership application and email to Sandy_Hall@ncsu.edu or drop it off at the Nash County 4-H office no later than Monday, May 1st

Notification of total balance due based on
Campership Scholarships will be provided by May 9th.

Step Three – Final Payment

Final payment / balance is due no later than June 1st

Payments must be cash or check payable to Nash County 4-H
and delivered to the Nash County 4-H office.

4H Camp Forms_2023 must be completed, signed off by a physician and turned in to the Nash County 4-H office no later than June 1st.
