Cooking Up the Season – Blueberries

— Written By

The seventh video in the Cooking Up the Season mini-series highlights blueberries. Blueberry season for our area is mid-May to mid-July. Blueberries are a good source of dietary fiber and vitamin C. They are low in fat, saturated fat-free, sodium-free, and cholesterol-free.

Blueberries can be eaten raw or cooked. You can freeze blueberries to keep them longer and to have them to enjoy later in the year. You can access the video on blueberries on our Nash & Edgecombe Family & Consumer Science Youtube channel.
