Join us on a bus trip where you’ll experience America’s Largest Home®, as majestic today as it was more than a century ago, through a self-guided house tour that spans three floors and the basement of the luxurious family home of George and Edith Vanderbilt. Take a stroll through the acres of formal and breathtaking landscapes and informal gardens designed by America’s foremost landscape architect. And, you’ll want to make sure you stop at Biltmore Winery for a complimentary wine tasting with its distinctive portfolio of multi-award-winning reds, whites and roses.
Shop the Western North Carolina (WNC) Farmers Market – The Western North Carolina Farmer’s Market is on a 36-acre site with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains where you’ll find a large range of vendors with plenty of seasonal bounties. Admission free.
The retail area features displays of high-quality fruits and vegetables, mountain crafts, jams, jellies, preserves, sourwood honey, and dozens of other farm-fresh items. Inside you will also find a deli that offers sandwiches and ice cream.
Jesse Israel & Sons Garden and Nursery Center feature top quality plants, trees and shrubs. You will enjoy strolling through their colorful facility that includes a greenhouse full of tropical plants, ponds full of water plants, bonsai and a 40-ft. waterfall.

Ticket price includes general admission to The Biltmore. Admission to WNC is free. Tickets are non-refundale.

Here’s how the day will look . . .
CHECK-IN 3:30 a.m. at Nash County Agriculture Center
DEPART 4 a.m. sharp
ARRIVE at The Biltmore at approximately 9 a.m.
There will be one stop, (fast food restaurant) shortly before arriving to The Biltmore for a restroom break and breakfast.
DEPART The Biltmore at 3 p.m. sharp
ARRIVE at the WNC Farmers Market at 3:20 p.m.
DEPART the WNC Farmers Market at 4:15 p.m. sharp
There will be a dinner stop at the Hickory Cracker Barrel at approximately 6 p.m.
ARRIVE back in Nashville at approximately 10:45 p.m.
*Payment must be completed no later than Friday, April 17, 2020. A completed Registration and Agreement form and Waiver and Release of Liability form must accompany the deposit. Check or Cash payments may be dropped at the Nash County 4-H office located at the Nash County Agriculture Center, 1006 Eastern Avenue, Room 102 in Nashville. Checks must be issued to Nash County 4-H.
All youth 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult chaperone.
Transportation provided by AT&T Charter Bus Company
A Registration and Agreement Form and a Waiver and Release of Liability Form must be completed for each person.
