Escape from Everyday – Spend the day among a legacy and marvel at the charm of the famous Biltmore Estate built in 1895. This 8000-acre estate with its majestic house, gardens, and winery is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Join us on a bus trip where you’ll experience America’s Largest Home®, as majestic today as it was more than a century ago, through a self-guided house tour that spans three floors and the basement of the luxurious family home of George and Edith Vanderbilt. Take a stroll through the acres of formal and breathtaking landscapes and informal gardens designed by America’s foremost landscape architect. And, you’ll want to make sure you stop at Biltmore Winery for a complimentary wine tasting with its distinctive portfolio of multi-award-winning reds, whites and roses.

Shop the Western North Carolina (WNC) Farmers Market – The Western North Carolina Farmer’s Market is on a 36-acre site with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains where you’ll find a large range of vendors with plenty of seasonal bounties. Admission free.

The retail area features displays of high-quality fruits and vegetables, mountain crafts, jams, jellies, preserves, sourwood honey, and dozens of other farm-fresh items. Inside you will also find a deli that offers sandwiches and ice cream.
