Safe Plates Food Safety Certification Class

N.C. Cooperative Extension offers Safe Plates for Food Managers for all those who work in the foodservice industry. The course helps food establishments meet the North Carolina requirement of having at least one supervisor certified as a food protection manager, per the FDA Food Code 2017.

N.C. Cooperative Extension of Nash County will be hosting a Safe Plates for Food Managers and Handlers Training Program March 25, 26, & 27, 2020. This class will prepare participants for the food safety certification exam on the 27th. Participants will get two days ( March 25 & 26) of instruction and then sit for the Food Safety Certification Exam on Friday, March 27. The registration fee is $125.00 and covers materials for course and exam fee. The deadline to register is March 4.
