2018 Summer Entrepreneurship & Leadership (S.E.A.L.) Camp

The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Nash County Center will host the 2018 Summer Entrepreneurship and Leadership (S.E.A.L.) Camp, for teens ages 14 – 17. This fun and interactive camp will be held June 25 – 29, from 10 am – 4 pm. This camp will be held at the Nash County Agriculture Center, located at 1006 Eastern Avenue in Nashville. 

Participants will have the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship by understanding the entrepreneurial process.

Topics covered include:

  • Introduction to entrepreneurshipSEAL Camp logo
  • Local small business ideas
  • Creating a business plan 
  • Business pitch & presentation skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Local small business resources & obtaining funding

Participants will have the chance to present a final presentation during a business pitch “Shark Tank” competition on June 29th! With this fun and interactive camp, teens will not only learn about entrepreneurship, they will also have the opportunity to leave with skills such as, leadership, problem-solving, critical-thinking, presentation skills and more. These transferable skills can help prepare teens for future interviews, presentations, and public speaking events.
