Agriculture and Industry tour

NC Cooperative Extension, Nash County Center, is joining Alleghany, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties for an out-of-state Agriculture and Industry Tour August 12th-17th. The tour will feature stops in North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois where you’ll learn about a variety of crops, equine, sheep, dairy cattle, hogs, beef cattle and an array of agriculture related equipment.

Lexington Horse Park

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory

Churchill Downs

Poe Hampshire Farm

Fair Oaks Farm

Caterpillar Visitors Center & Museum

John Deere World Headquarters

Indiana State Fair

UK Livestock Education Units

Register online to attend. There is a $50.00 deposit per person (checks can be made payable to Davidson County) and can be mailed to: Davidson County Extension, c/o Sara Drake (address: 301 E. Center St., Lexington, NC 27292).
