Alice’s Garden

presented by Bob Cassanova
July 20th through August 26th at the Arts Council of Wilson

A photographic exhibition, “Alice’s Garden”, is scheduled to be held, in the Arts Council of Wilson from July 20th through August 26th.  An opening reception will be on Thursday, July 20th from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm will feature an artist’s talk at 5:00 pm. The reception is free and open to the public. This exhibition is part of the “In the Garden” exhibition that Bob Cassanova will be sharing with Pegi Barnes-Sharp who will exhibit her collection of beautiful water color paintings.

Many of the botanical specimens shown in the photographs are grown in the garden around Robert and Alice’s home in Eastern North Carolina. Robert’s high resolution photographs capture the patterns, shapes and colors in stunning detail with the use of a view camera or a high resolution digital camera, and digital focusing stacking techniques. The photographs are either black and white gelatin silver prints or archival pigmented inkjet prints processed and mounted to preserve the archival nature of the prints. All photographs are displayed in metal frames or in hand-made frames of oak, walnut, heart pine or cypress.
