Atlantic Coast Pipeline – Jan 2017 Update

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP). FERC published a Notice of Availability of the Draft EIS in the Federal Register on December 30, 2016. The text of the report is available on the FERC Filings and Information page of the ACP website at

FERC announced a 90-day public comment period on the Draft EIS and has requested to receive written comments by April 6, 2017. In addition, FERC will host ten public comment sessions in the project area. Below is a list of the session dates, times and locations scheduled in North Carolina. All comment sessions to be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Session attendees to be given a number in the order that they arrive and will be asked to share their verbal comments with a court reporter. Transcripts of the sessions will be placed on the FERC docket for ACP.
